• You know, I think we should take five. (음, 저희 한숨 돌려야 할 것같아요.)
• Can you take five? (5분 정도 쉴 수 있어?)
• Why don't we take five and think about it? (우리 5분 정도 쉬고 생각해 보는게 어때?)

 

• think long and hard (심사숙고하다)
• You should think long and hard before making a decision. (결정을 내리기 전에 심사숙고해야 해.)
• I thought long and hard before I told him that. (그에게 말하기 전에 정말 심사숙고했어.)
• We need to think long and hard before we take action. (우리가 조치를 하기 전에 깊게 생각해 봐야해.)

 

• take a chance (모험을 시도하다)
• I'm going to take a chance. (난 모험을 해볼거야.)
• He does not like to take a chance. (그는 모험하는 걸 싫어해.)
• You should take a chance on this kind of opportunity. (이런 기회엔 모험해 봐야 해.)
